WHAT A DOG WANTS

Canine Behaviourist and Trainer
Hi, I’m Bulbul Gopalani. After 18 enriching years in the corporate world, I found a new calling—one driven by love, curiosity, and a four-legged companion named Barfi. My journey into the world of dog behaviour and training began with a simple but powerful desire: to understand Barfi better and ensure she lived the happiest, healthiest life possible.
What started as a personal mission soon became a professional passion. Today, as a certified dog behaviourist and trainer, my goal is to help dogs and their pet parents build stronger, more harmonious relationships. I believe that every dog deserves a life filled with trust, enrichment, and mutual understanding—and I’m here to make that happen.
Whether you're dealing with behavioural challenges or simply want to deepen your bond with your dog, I’m here to guide you with compassion, knowledge, and respect for your dog’s individual needs.
Let’s work together to help your dog live their best life.

Success Stories
Working with Bulbul has been a truly transformative experience for both my toy poodle, Coffee, and us. When we started, Coffee had challenges with recall, leash pulling and separation anxiety. Thanks to Bulbul's calm, compassionate and deeply intuitive approach - more dog psychologist than traditional trainer- he has made incredible progress.
I am so grateful for the care and expertise Bulbul has brought into Coffee's life. Her work goes far beyond training- she builds trust, fosters connection and helps dogs (and their humans) thrive.

Working with Bulbul for Laila has been seamless. Laila is a 4 months old baby who loves meeting new people and is a firecracker of energy. Working with Bulbul helped her calm down so much while directing her energy in games, commands and puzzles.
We also left Laila with Bulbul for home boarding and she had so much fun playing with the kids.
No doubt, Laila absolutely adores her and we do too.

We couldn't have asked for a better trainer for our Goldendoodle Beanie when he was just 4 months old.
Bulbul was very patient, kind and knowledgeable - not just with our pup, but with us too.
She taught us so much about living with a puppy, using positive affirmation and creating a space where he could feel safe and grow to trust us. Thanks to her we started our journey as confident and calm puppy parents.
Highly recommend her to anyone with a young pup.
